Description:

Covering a surface of 172,000 acres, Biscayne National Park is a water-based natural preservation and exploration area. In addition to setting out on their own by kayak or canoe, visitors can take a number of guided boat tours of the water, including glass bottomed boat cruises, snorkeling trips and scuba diving tours exploring the animals and plants that call the bay home. Various islands of the Florida Keys, contained within the park, feature environmental museums, campgrounds, walking paths and more. The national park is located south of Miami, reaching down to Homestead and encompassing islands including the Boca Chita Key, Elliott Key and Adams Key.
